Why in the news?<\/h2>\n

The Andhra Pradesh government has recently imposed a month-long ban on fishing to prevent death of Olive Ridley turtles off Kakinada coast.<\/p>\n

About the Olive Ridley Turtle<\/h2>\n

1. The Olive ridley turtles are the smallest and most abundant of all sea turtles found in the world.
\n2. They are best known for their unique mass nesting called Arribada, where thousands of females come together on the same beach to lay eggs.
