What is Micellar water?<\/h2>\n

1.<\/strong> Micellar water is\u00a0a gentle solution with a mild detergent<\/span>. It is a skincare product<\/span> made up of tiny oil molecules called micelles <\/span>– groups of molecules that are good at removing oil.<\/p>\n

2.<\/strong> The micelles in micellar water are created by special molecules called surfactants<\/span>. These molecules have both hydrophilic (water-loving) and hydrophobic (water-hating) properties.<\/p>\n

3.<\/strong> These micelles molecules have water-friendly outer layer that<\/span>\u00a0easily mixes with water.<\/p>\n

How micellar water works?<\/h2>\n

1.<\/strong> When someone applies micellar water to a cotton pad<\/span>, an interesting thing happens. The wet cotton attracts the water-loving part (hydrophilic) of the micelles<\/span>, while the oily part (hydrophobic) sticks out<\/span>.<\/p>\n

2.<\/strong> This oily part is attracted to makeup, sunscreen, oils<\/span>, and dirt on your face<\/span>.<\/p>\n

3.<\/strong> As one wipe the cotton pad across your skin, these substances attach to the micelles<\/span> and are removed<\/span>. Some are even trapped inside the micelles.<\/p>\n

4.<\/strong> This result in a cleaner skin in the end.<\/p>\n
