OpenAI recently unveiled Sora<\/span>, an AI model that can produce realistic videos based on text instructions, with a duration of up to one minute. It is a generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) model.<\/span><\/p>\n

1.<\/strong> Text to Video<\/strong>– The Sora model is capable of producing videos up to one minute in length<\/span>, ensuring high visual quality and adherence as per the user’s instructions.<\/p>\n

2.<\/strong> Generate complex scenes<\/strong>– Sora can generate intricate scenes featuring multiple characters<\/span>, various types of motion, and precise details of both the subject and the background.<\/p>\n

3. Dynamic Impressions- <\/strong>It can understand how objects function in reality<\/span>, interpret prompts accurately. It can<\/span><\/span>\u00a0generate engaging characters that convey lively emotions.<\/p>\n

4.<\/strong> Multishot Avatar-<\/strong> Sora can also produce multiple shots within a single generated video<\/span> that accurately persist characters and visual style.<\/p>\n

Note<\/strong>– Currently<\/span>, the Sora model is not available in OpenAI\u2019s products<\/span>. It will be accessible after all safety checks are completed.<\/p>\n

Which other companies have also entered this field?<\/h2>\n

1.<\/strong> Google’s Lumiere<\/span>, launched recently , can generate five-second videos based on provided prompts, whether text- or image-based.<\/p>\n

2.<\/strong> Additionally, companies like Runway and Pika<\/span> also have showcased their own noteworthy text-to-video models.<\/p>\n

What is generative artificial intelligence (GenAI)?<\/h2>\n

1.<\/strong> Generative AI uses Artificial Intelligence<\/span> and Machine Learning algorithms<\/span> to enable machines to generate new content (machine generated).<\/p>\n

2.<\/strong> Systems use previously created content<\/span>, such as text, audio, video, images, and code.<\/p>\n

3.<\/strong> The term \u2018Generative\u2019 refers to the ability of the models to learn how to create new data rather than simply recognising it. For example<\/strong>, a generative model may learn how to generate images that resemble faces given a set of parameters (such as the eyes, hair, or skin colour etc.).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
