They have been fighting a civil war with the Yemen government for almost a decade.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2.<\/strong> They are <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">named after the Houthi tribe who follow Zaydi Shia beliefs<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. <\/strong>They <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">are in power in northern Yemen<\/span>, <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">including the official capital Sanaa<\/span>. The official government now operates from Aden.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4.<\/strong> They are<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"> supported by Iran<\/span>.
