There have been several <strong>political controversies<\/strong> between the<strong> Governors<\/strong> and the <strong>respective State Governments<\/strong> in recent times. Most contentious issue has been <strong>inordinate delays<\/strong> by the Governors in <strong>providing assent to the Bills passed by the State Legislative Assemblies<\/strong>.
