In the case of FCV tobacco, this process is well-standardized.<\/p>\n<p>b) The <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">primary goal of curing<\/span> is to achieve specific qualities in the cured leaf while removing excess moisture.<\/p>\n<p>c) There are <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">three traditional methods of tobacco curing:<\/span><br \/>\ni) <span style=\"color: #333333;\">Air-Cured: <\/span>Leaves are dried naturally in the open air.<br \/>\nii) <span style=\"color: #333333;\">Fire-Cured:<\/span> Leaves are exposed to smoke and heat during the drying process.<br \/>\nii) <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Flue-Cured:<\/span> <\/span>This method is used for FCV tobacco.
