About<\/strong>&#8211; It is a <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">genetic bleeding disorder<\/span> <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">caused<\/span> by a <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">deficiency in clotting factor VIII (blood-clotting protein)<\/span>, which is necessary for blood clotting.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Sex-linked:<br \/>\na.<\/strong> It is a sex-linked disorder determined by the X and Y chromosomes. The gene for hemophilia is <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">found on the X chromosome<\/span>.<br \/>\n<strong>b.<\/strong> Hemophilia is much <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">more common in males<\/span> <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">than<\/span> <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">in females<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Symptoms<\/strong>&#8211; Prolonged bleeding after injuries, surgeries, or <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">spontaneous bleeding<\/span> into muscles and joints.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4.
