Rational behind this step:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To make research relevant to policy.<\/li>\n<li>It will contribute in solving society problems.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>3. ICSSR, has also made a tentative list of themes on which it would like to support research.<\/p>\n<p>4. The ICHR awards doctoral and post-doctoral fellowship.<\/p>\n<p>5. The document shared with the government identifies many thrust areas such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Security<\/li>\n<li>Make In India<\/li>\n<li>Federalism<\/li>\n<li>Regionalism and its implications.<\/li>\n<li>Simultaneous elections to the Lok Sabha and State legislative assemblies<\/li>\n<li>Fake news, paid news and media ownership<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>6.
