Union Minister of Cooperation launched the National Cooperative Database (NCD) to foster a cooperative-centric economic model.<\/p>\n

1. About:<\/strong> It is a web-based digital dashboard<\/span> wherein data of cooperative societies, including national\/state federations, have been captured. It has collected or mapped information about 8 lakh cooperatives.<\/span><\/p>\n

2. It aligns with vision of \u201cSahakar se Samriddhi\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

3. It has been developed in collaboration with State Governments, National Federations, and stakeholders<\/span> to foster a cooperative-centric economic model.<\/span><\/p>\n

4. Significance: <\/strong>Database promotes transparency and collaboration<\/span> within the cooperative sector and can be proved as a milestone for cooperative sector:<\/p>\n

i) It’s a crucial tool for smooth communication<\/span> between the Central Ministry, States\/UTs, and Cooperative Societies, providing comprehensive contact details for registered societies.<\/p>\n

ii) This initiative will bring positive transformation at the grassroots level<\/span> aligning with the vision of a prosperous and \u2018AtmaNirbhar Bharat’.<\/span><\/p>\n
