Transmission<\/strong><\/td>\n1. It is primarily transmitted to humans<\/span> through the bite of infected black-legged ticks, often referred to as deer ticks.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Affected regions<\/strong><\/td>\n1. It’s commonly found in forests and grasslands<\/span> around the world, especially when the weather is warmer.
\n2. \u00a0It is most commonly reported in\u00a0North America, Europe, and some parts of Asia.<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Symptoms<\/strong><\/td>\nHigh-grade fever, pain and swelling in his knee, neck stiffness and superficial ulcers over the scrotum<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Treatment<\/strong><\/td>\n1) The standard treatment for Lyme disease is an antibiotic<\/span> taken as a pill.
\n2) The treatment usually lasts 10 to 14 days.<\/span> Treatment may be longer depending on symptoms.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
