Defence Minister Rajnath Singh recently inaugurated the new Nausena Bhawan in Delhi Cantonment.<\/p>\n

What is its Significance?<\/h2>\n

First Independent headquarter<\/strong>– The inauguration of Nausena Bhawan is a major milestone for the Indian Navy, marking its first independent headquarters in Delhi.\u00a0Before, the Navy functioned from 13 diverse sites which poses coordination challenges.<\/p>\n

2. Building Construction<\/strong>– It has three wings across four stories<\/span> and uses innovative construction methods for efficiency and sustainability.<\/p>\n

3. Environment friendly<\/strong>– The complex is dedicated to saving energy<\/span> and water by using solar power systems<\/span> and advanced building materials<\/span>.<\/p>\n

1. Advanced Technology Usage:<\/strong>
\na.<\/strong> Nausena Bhawan offers a pleasant indoor environment, featuring a central heating, ventilation<\/span>, and air conditioning system<\/span> utilizing advanced oxidation plasma technology<\/span>.
\nb.<\/strong> It also has an advanced integrated building management system<\/span> for efficient coordination and monitoring of security and utilities.<\/p>\n

2. Green rating and Security<\/strong>-The building has earned a Green Rating IV<\/span> under the integrated habitability assessment<\/a>. It boasts a three-tier security system<\/span> comprising:<\/p>\n

a.<\/strong> Automatic underbelly scanning for vehicles
