Launched<\/strong>&#8211; The KCC scheme <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">started in 1998<\/span> to offer <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">timely credit to farmers for farming<\/span> and <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">related needs<\/span>. It was initiated <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">based on the recommendation of R.V. Gupta committee.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Objective<\/strong>&#8211; KCC aims to <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">fulfill short-term credit needs<\/span> <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">for farming<\/span>, <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">post-harvest costs<\/span>, marketing, consumption, farm asset maintenance, and agriculture-related investments.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Implementing Entities:<\/strong> Commercial Banks, <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Regional Rural Banks (RRBs)<\/span>, <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Small Finance Banks<\/span>, and Cooperatives participate in executing the scheme.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. Features:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>a.<\/strong> KCC offers an <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">ATM-enabled RuPay debit card<\/span>, streamlined processes, and inherent cost escalation.<br \/>\n<strong>b.<\/strong> The government helps farmers by reducing interest rates and offering rewards for prompt loan repayment to make agricultural loans more affordable. <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Farmers must link their Aadhaar to avail themselves of interest rate reductions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>5.
