Member:<\/strong> It consists of <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">23 member countries and the European Commission.<\/span> The member countries include major economies such as the United States, Japan, Germany, China, South Korea, Canada, and India.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Mission:<\/strong> The IPHE&#8217;s mission is <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">to facilitate and accelerate the transition to clean and efficient energy and mobility systems<\/span> using hydrogen and fuel cell technologies across applications and sectors.<\/p>\n<p>4. IPHE serves as a mechanism <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">to organize and implement effective, efficient, and focused international research, development, demonstration, and commercial utilization activities<\/span> related to hydrogen and fuel cell technologies.<\/p>\n<p>5. It also provides a forum for <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">sharing information on policies and technology status,<\/span> as well as on initiatives, codes, and standards to accelerate the cost-effective transition to the use of fuel cells and hydrogen in the economy.<\/p>\n<h2>Green Hydrogen and its derivatives<\/h2>\n<figure style=\"width: 367px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/aleasoft.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/20200121-aleasoft-green-hydrogen-electrolysis.gif?resize=367%2C383&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"The green hydrogen is the fuel of the future - AleaSoft Energy Forecasting\" width=\"367\" height=\"383\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Source: AleaSoft<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>1. Green hydrogen, also known as GH2, is a <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">type of hydrogen that is produced using renewable energy sources.<\/span> It is considered a key element for the deep decarbonization of energy mix.<\/p>\n<p>2. <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Derivatives of green hydrogen,<\/span> such as <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">green ammonia and green methanol,<\/span> are long-term energy carriers that store surplus renewable electricity produced during periods of low demand.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong> <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Green ammonia<\/span> is produced from renewable energy sources and has the potential to play an important role in reducing the world\u2019s dependence on fossil fuels.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Green methanol<\/span> is a key product in the chemical industry. It can be used to produce other chemicals such as formaldehyde, acetic acid, and plastics, or replace methanol as the main element.<\/p>\n<p>4.
