What is the UN resolution on the ceasefire in Gaza?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The UN Security Council passed a resolution demanding an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.<\/p>\n

The US, which usually vetoes such resolutions, allowed this one to pass with a 14-0 vote.<\/p>\n

Prior to this, the US vetoed three resolutions demanding a ceasefire after the October 7 attacks by Hamas, indicating a shift in the US stance.<\/p>\n
