{"id":28863,"date":"2018-10-24T15:17:25","date_gmt":"2018-10-24T09:47:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.forumias.com\/?p=28863"},"modified":"2018-10-24T15:17:25","modified_gmt":"2018-10-24T09:47:25","slug":"government-opens-doors-to-lateral-entry","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/government-opens-doors-to-lateral-entry\/","title":{"rendered":"Government opens doors to lateral entry"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Government opens doors to lateral entry<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>News:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>The Department of personnel and training has announced \u201clateral recruitment\u201d to senior positions in Government of India.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Important News:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li>The government has invited individual with outstanding quality from Private Sector Companies, Consultancy Organizations, and International\/Multinational Organizations to join the government at the joint secretary level at the Centre.<\/li>\n<li>Initially applications for 10 senior level positions is available in the Departments which include:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>Department of Economic Affairs<\/li>\n<li>Department of Revenue<\/li>\n<li>Department of Commerce<\/li>\n<li>Department of \u00a0Financial Services<\/li>\n<li>Department of Economic Affairs<\/li>\n<li>Civil Aviation<\/li>\n<li>Agriculture and Cooperation,<\/li>\n<li>Highways and Shipping<\/li>\n<li>Environment and Climate Change<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li>The government will further expand it to other categories in the second phase.<\/li>\n<li>Eligibility criteria as per notification includes:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum age of 40 years<\/li>\n<li>Minimum qualification of graduation from a recognized university<\/li>\n<li>Individuals who are working at comparable levels in Private Sector Companies, Consultancy Organizations, International\/Multinational Organizations with a minimum of 15 years\u2019 experience<\/li>\n<li>It also include those working in central public sector undertakings, autonomous bodies, statutory organizations, research bodies and universities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>6.
