It is the <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">flagship programme<\/span> launched by<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"> IEA in 2017<\/span> for taking action<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"> to achieve a clean energy transformation worldwide.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>2. The program utilizes the Agency&#8217;s expertise and influence to offer analysis, technical assistance, and capacity building to developing countries for Clean Energy transition.<\/p>\n<p>3. The CETP\u2019s work is structured across<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"> three pillars of activity:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>a) supporting emerging and developing countries to establish clean energy transition goals, in line with the objectives of the 2015 Paris Agreement and the Sustainable Development Goals established by the United Nations.<\/p>\n<p>b) facilitating coordination among multilateral organisations such as the Group of 20 (G20) and UN-affiliated collaborations.<\/p>\n<p>c) to enable and accelerate clean energy transitions at global level.<\/p>\n<h2>About IEA<\/h2>\n<p>1) It was <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">established in 1974<\/span> as an <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">autonomous intergovernmental organization<\/span> under the OECD framework.<\/p>\n<p>2<strong>) Aim:<\/strong> To ensure reliable, affordable and clean energy for its member countries and beyond.<\/p>\n<p>3) <strong>Headquarters:<\/strong> Paris, France.<\/p>\n<p>4) <strong>Focus areas:<\/strong> It has four main areas of focus: a) Energy security b) Economic development c) Environmental awareness and d) Engagement worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>5) <strong>Members:<\/strong> It has 31 member countries and eight association countries.
