Madras HC order is based on NCERT recommendations.<\/p>\n<p>3. Important highlight of order are<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>ban will be applicable to all school irrespective of the educational board.<\/li>\n<li>schools can give homework only in language and mathematics in Classes I and II.<\/li>\n<li>For class Classes III-V only environmental science should be an additional subject.<\/li>\n<li>center should formulate a policy to reduce the burden of books carried by children on the lines of the Children School Bags (Limitation on Weight) Bill, 2006<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>4.
