The Indian Army contingent has departed for the 5th edition of India- Uzbekistan joint military Exercise Dustlik.<\/p>\n

About<\/strong><\/td>\n1. Exercise DUSTLIK is a yearly event<\/span> conducted alternatively in India and Uzbekistan.
\n2. The Exercise is scheduled to be conducted from<\/span> 15th to 28th April 2024 at Termez, the Republic of Uzbekistan.\u00a0<\/span>
\n3. The last edition was conducted at Pithoragarh (India) in February 2023.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Participating Nations<\/strong><\/td>\nIndia and Uzbekistan<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Objectives<\/strong><\/td>\nThe aim of Exercise Dustlik is:
\na) to foster military cooperation<\/span> and enhance combined capabilities to execute joint operations in mountainous as well as semi-urban terrain.
\nb) <\/span>to enhance tactical, technical, and procedural interoperability<\/span> and strengthen defense cooperation and bilateral relations\u00a0between the two participating nations.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Focus<\/strong><\/td>\nThe exercise will\u00a0emphasize high physical fitness, joint planning, tactical drills, and the basics of special arms skills.<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
