Meghalaya has 4 elephant corridors<\/li>\n<li>In Garo Hills, expansion of human settlements have resulted in fragmented elephant habitats and consequent man-animal conflict<\/li>\n<li>In 2014, villagers in Garo Hills had set aside a part of their community-owned land to create village reserve forests.
