The system is an <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">optomechanical setup<\/span> designed <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">to focus sunlight directly onto an idol&#8217;s forehead<\/span> using a <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">specialized arrangement of lenses and mirrors. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">2. It was developed by scientists from the<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"> Central Building Research Institute (CBRI) in Roorkee.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">3. It includes an <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">infrared filter<\/span> made from <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">heat-absorbing material at the aperture<\/span> to block high-energy photons, protecting the idol from heat damage.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">4. This <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">aperture allows sunlight to enter the sanctum sanctorum (&#8216;garbhagriha&#8217;)<\/span> precisely when aligned.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">5. The sunlight, passed through the filter, is then concentrated via four lenses and mirrors inside brass pipes angled to direct a single beam onto the idol.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">6. To <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">minimize light scattering<\/span>, the <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">interior surfaces of these components are coated with black powder<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">7.
