{"id":29193,"date":"2018-10-24T17:30:52","date_gmt":"2018-10-24T12:00:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.forumias.com\/?p=29193"},"modified":"2018-10-24T17:30:52","modified_gmt":"2018-10-24T12:00:52","slug":"world-faces-staggering-obesity-challenge-study","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/world-faces-staggering-obesity-challenge-study\/","title":{"rendered":"World faces \u2018staggering\u2019 obesity challenge: study"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>World faces \u2018staggering\u2019 obesity challenge: study<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>News:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Researcher at the European Congress on Obesity has forecasted that global population will obese in coming years.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Important Facts:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>The report stated that 22% of people in the world will be obese by 2045 compare to 14% last year.<\/li>\n<li>After 27 years almost a quarter of the global population will be obese.<\/li>\n<li>One in eight people have type 2 diabetes (a form of the disease that generally hits in adulthood as a result of being overweight)<\/li>\n<li>The researchers from U.S. found obesity will increase from 39% of the population in 2017 to 55% in 2045, and diabetes from 14% to 18%.<\/li>\n<li>In Britain, the proportion will swell from 32% to 48% and the percentage of diabetes rising from 10.2% to 12.6%.<\/li>\n<li>The researcher have divided the population of each country into age groups, and body mass index (BMI)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Note: BMI is a ratio of height to weight used to divide people into low- to high-risk categories for developing heart disease, high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes and certain cancers.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>As per population data across the world, each country is different based on unique genetic, social and environmental conditions.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>World faces \u2018staggering\u2019 obesity challenge: study News: Researcher at the European Congress on Obesity has forecasted that global population will obese in coming years.
