The Indian Air Force (IAF) has successfully carried out a test firing of a new version of an air-launched medium-range ballistic missile<\/span>, Crystal Maze 2 that is capable of hitting targets at a distance exceeding 250 km<\/span>.<\/p>\n

1. The Crystal Maze 2\u00a0 is an air-launched ballistic missile. It is also known as ROCKS. It has originated from Israel<\/span> and boasts a striking range of 250 kilometers.<\/p>\n

2. It was fired from a Su-30 MKI fighter jet<\/span> stationed in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.<\/span><\/p>\n

3. Crystal Maze 2 targets both stationary and relocatable assets of significant value, and is capable of neutralizing enemy long-range radar and air defense systems.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

4. The missile can effectively eliminate above-ground or heavily fortified underground targets<\/span>, even within heavily defended surface-to-air areas.<\/p>\n
