About:<\/strong> Corporate governance charter was launched for startups to <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">provide suggestions on corporate governance tailored for startups and offer guidelines suitable for different stages of a startup.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>2. Launched by:<\/strong> It was launched by <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Confederation of Indian Industry (CII)<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>3. Aim:<\/strong> It will aim <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">to enhance governance practices.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>4. Role of the charter:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">a) The CII Charter is crafted <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">to assist startups in addressing governance requirements throughout their journey,<\/span> spanning from establishment to public listing.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">b) The tool allows startups <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">to measure their governance progress,<\/span> with score changes indicating improvements in governance practices as assessed against the scorecard from time to time.<\/p>\n<p>c) The guidance provided to startups will be structured across<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"> four key stages: inception, progression, growth and going public.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Each stage emphasises particular governance principles that may need extra focus during that phase of the startup journey.<\/p>\n<h2>About\u00a0Corporate governance:<\/h2>\n<p><strong>1. <\/strong>Corporate governance in India is a <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">set of rules, practices and processes by which a company is guided and controlled.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>2.
