About (AEO) programme:<\/strong> It\u00a0 is an voluntary compliance programme which was<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"> introduced in 2011<\/span> as a pilot project by the <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Customs department.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>2. Function under: The AEO\u00a0 programme is under the <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">World Customs Organisation (WCO) SAFE Framework of Standards <span style=\"color: #333333;\">to secure and facilitate global trade. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Aim:<\/strong> The aim is <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">to enhance international supply chain security and facilitate movement of legitimate goods.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>4. How this programme works:<\/strong> Under this programme, an entity engaged in international trade is approved by the Customs as compliant with supply chain security standards, and granted AEO status and certain benefits.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5.
