Recently, Hong Kong and Singapore have also suspended the sales of certain MDH and Everest Food Products.<\/p>\n<h2>Why such spices are being rejected?<\/h2>\n<p><strong>1. Reasons for rejection-<\/strong> MDH export shipment have been rejected <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">due to salmonella contamination.\u00a0<span style=\"color: #333333;\">FDA inspection of MDH&#8217;s manufacturing plant has also found <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">inadequate sanitary facilities and accommodations<\/span>, as well as contamination of equipment and utensils.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>2. About Salmonella:<\/strong> It is a type of bacteria that can <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">cause gastrointestinal illness and fever, known as salmonellosis. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Nature of the bacteria:<\/strong> Salmonella is a <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">resilient and widespread bacteria<\/span>. It is <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">capable of surviving for weeks in dry environments and months in water<span style=\"color: #333333;\">.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>3.<span style=\"color: #333333;\"> It naturally resides in the intestines of animals and can be present in their faeces. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>4. How humans get impacted:\u00a0<\/strong> Humans get infected when they come into contact with salmonella-infected animals or contaminated items.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5.
