Those with diplomatic status<br \/>\nb. Government-appointed individuals travelling abroad for official business<br \/>\nc. Officers working under the branches A and B of Indian Foreign Service (IFS)<br \/>\nd. Relatives and immediate family of officers employed in IFS and MEA.<br \/>\ne. Selected individuals authorized to undertake official travel on behalf of the government.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr style=\"height: 30px;\">\n<td style=\"width: 15.5758%; height: 30px;\"><strong>Grounds of revocation of passport<\/strong><\/td>\n<td style=\"width: 84.4242%; height: 30px;\">The <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Passport Act 1967<\/span> provides for the ground of revocation of diplomatic passports. The grounds are mentioned as follows-<br \/>\na. if the holder is in wrongful possession<br \/>\nb. if it was obtained by the suppression of material information<br \/>\nc. Interests of the sovereignty and integrity of India, or friendly relations of India with any foreign country.<br \/>\nd. Conviction by a court in India and sentenced to imprisonment for not less than two years, after the issue of the passport.<br \/>\ne.
