Significance of the Recognized Works:<\/strong> These works were chosen for their<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"> global appeal and profound influence<\/span> on both Indian and international audiences.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Specific Works and Attributes:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>i) Ramcharitmanas:<\/strong> The Ramayana and Ramcharitmanas are widely read in Southeast Asian countries like<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"> Cambodia, Thailand, Sri Lanka, and Indonesia. <span style=\"color: #333333;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Two versions of the Ramcharitmanas<\/span> were submitted to UNESCO, one by <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Goswami Tulsidas and another translated into Arabic in the 18th century,<\/span> demonstrating the text&#8217;s broad appeal in West Asia and beyond.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>ii) Panchatantra:<\/strong> It was selected for <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">its universal moral lessons.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>iii) Sah\u1e5bdayaloka-Locana:<\/strong> It is recognized for its aesthetic significance, authored by renowned Kashmiri scholars <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Acharya Anandvardhan and Abhinavagupta.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>About the Memory of the World (MOW) Program<\/h2>\n<p>1. The UNESCO Memory of the World (MOW) program is a <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">global initiative<\/span> aimed <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">at preserving, protecting, and enhancing access to documentary heritage<\/span>, particularly those collections that are rare and at risk.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Program Launch:<\/strong> It was <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">initiated in 1992.<\/span> The program&#8217;s goal is <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">to prevent &#8220;collective amnesia&#8221;<\/span> by safeguarding invaluable archives and library collections worldwide and promoting their widespread dissemination.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3.
