Tribals living in remote forests, pluck it and <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">sell them in the market to earn their livelihood.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>b) <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Traditional medical practitioners<\/span> use it <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">to treat malaria, diarrhoea, <span style=\"color: #333333;\">and<\/span> dysentery.<\/span> Due to their antimicrobial properties, the leaves are applied to cuts and bruises as well.<\/p>\n<h2><span id=\"Kendu_Leaf_in_Odisha\">Kendu Leaf in Odisha:<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>1. It is called the<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"> green gold of Odisha.<\/span> It is a <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">nationalized product,<\/span> like bamboo and the sal seed.
