Organized by:<\/strong> The Monsoon Croaks Bioblitz 2024 is organized by the <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Centre for Citizen Science and Biodiversity Informatics<\/span> at the <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Kerala Forest Research Institute (KFRI).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Schedules date:<\/strong> The event will run from<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"> June 1 to September 30<\/span>, focusing on documenting the frog species in Kerala. The program is <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">scheduled during the monsoon season,<\/span> which is the breeding time for frogs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Participation Details:<\/strong> <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Individuals of all ages<\/span> are encouraged to participate by <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">uploading photographs and recordings of frogs<\/span> via the<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"> iNaturalist app.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>4. Significance:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>a) Contributions will be integrated into the<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"> Global Biodiversity Information Facility (GBIF)<\/span> which is an open-source database for biodiversity data.<\/p>\n<p>b) The data collected will support biodiversity awareness, habitat conservation, species status assessments, scientific education, climate change research, and policymaking.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5.
