It was launched on the occasion of <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">World No Tobacco Day (WNTD) 2024.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">2. It was launched with the collaboration of the <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Department of School Education &amp; Literacy (DoSEL), the Ministry of Education, and the Socio-Economic and Educational Development Society (SEEDS)<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">3. This year&#8217;s WNTD theme is<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"> &#8220;Protecting children from tobacco industry interference\u201d.<\/span> The newly launched manual has been designed in line with the theme.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>4. Manual Objectives<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>a) Guidelines Adherence:<\/strong> It <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">assists schools in following the Manual of Tobacco Free Educational Institutions(ToFEI) guidelines<\/span> issued by the <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Ministry of Health and Family Welfare<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>b) Healthy Environment:<\/strong> It aims<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"> to create a tobacco-free environment<\/span> for students.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>c) Stakeholder Empowerment:<\/strong> It encourages all stakeholders in <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">adoption and enforcement of guidelines<\/span> to protect students from tobacco dangers<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>5.
