The <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">practice of freezing an individual who has died,<\/span> to revive them in the future, is known as cryonics.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">2.\u00a0 The word cryonics is derived from the <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Greek word &#8220;kr\u00fdos,&#8221; meaning &#8220;icy cold.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>3. Objective:<\/strong> Cryonics aims <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">to save lives by preserving individuals<\/span> at extremely low temperatures until future medical technologies can restore them to full health.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">4. Individuals in this state are referred to as<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"> &#8220;cryopreserved patients,&#8221;<\/span> as Cryonicists do not consider them truly dead.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>5. Process:<\/strong> The process of Cryonic preservation involves the following process:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">a) Cryonic preservation can only be performed after an individual has been legally declared dead.\u00a0The process begins shortly after death, with the body being packed in ice and transported to a cryonics facility.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">b)\u00a0 At the facility, blood is drained and replaced with antifreeze and organ-preserving compounds known as cryoprotective agents.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">c) In this vitrified state, the body is placed in a chamber filled with liquid nitrogen and preserved at -196 \u00b0C.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">6.
