The agencies are as follows-<br \/>\n1. The International Energy Agency (IEA)<br \/>\n2. The International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA)<br \/>\n3. The United Nations Statistics Division (UNSD)<br \/>\n4. The World Bank<br \/>\n5. The World Health Organization (WHO)<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"width: 18.9697%;\"><strong>Focus of the Report<\/strong><\/td>\n<td style=\"width: 81.0303%;\">This report summarizes <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">global progress on energy access<\/span>, <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">energy efficiency<\/span>, <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">renewable energy<\/span>, <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">clean cooking<\/span>, and <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">international cooperation<\/span> to advance SDG 7.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"width: 18.9697%;\"><strong>Highlights of the Report<\/strong><\/td>\n<td style=\"width: 81.0303%;\"><strong>1.Insufficient Progress- <\/strong>While the share of renewables in global electricity consumption has increased to 28.2%, this is still <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">insufficient to reach the targets set forth<\/span> in the SDGs.<br \/>\n<strong>2. Offtrack in achieving universal access to clean cooking-<\/strong> The world <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">remains off track to achieve universal access to clean cooking<\/span> by 2030. 2.1 billion people still live without access to clean cooking fuels and technologies, largely in Sub-Saharan Africa and Asia.<br \/>\n<strong>3. Increase in the number of people living without electricity- <\/strong>The number of people living without electricity grew for the <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">first time in over a decade<\/span>.<br \/>\n<strong>4. Premature Deaths-<\/strong> Household air pollution created by using polluting fuels and technologies for cooking results in <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">3.2 million premature deaths<\/span> each year.<br \/>\n<strong>5. Increase in per-capita installed energy-generating capacity-<\/strong> The installed renewable energy-generating capacity per capita has reached a new record in 2022 at <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">424 watts per capita globally<\/span>.<br \/>\nHowever considerable disparities exist between the developed and the developing countries.
