The project, titled \u2018<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">AMRsense: Empowering Communities with a Proactive One Health Ecosystem<\/span>,\u2019 was led by Tavpritesh Sethi from <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">IIIT-Delhi in collaboration with CHRI-PATH<\/span>, <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">1mg.com<\/span>, and the<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"> Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR)<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>2. The prize-winning project is on tackling the escalating threat of antimicrobial resistance.<\/p>\n<h2>Key Components of AMRsense<\/h2>\n<p><strong>1. Community Engagement:<\/strong>\u00a0Empowering <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">community health workers<\/span> (CHWs) with AI-assisted data recording tools for accurate and simplified data collection.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Data Integration:<\/strong>\u00a0Creating a <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">unified AMR data ecosystem<\/span> by integrating antibiotic sales, consumption, and WHONet-compliant surveillance data using open-source tools and APIs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Predictive Analytics:<\/strong> Using federated analytics across the OneHealth ecosystem to provide integrative insights on AMR.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. AMRaura Scorecard:<\/strong>\u00a0Monitoring and evaluating AMR trends effectively.<\/p>\n<h2>Context in India<\/h2>\n<p>1. In India, over 900,000 ASHA workers face limited awareness, insufficient training, and low motivation, creating a significant gap in community-level AMR data collection and evidence-based management.<\/p>\n<p>2.
