India is harnessing the capability of a rotary unmanned aerial system by partnering with the Austrian company Schiebel for their renowned Camcopter S-100.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

About<\/td>\nThe CAMCOPTER S-100 is an Austrian unmanned aerial vehicle<\/span> (UAV) using a rotorcraft design.
\nIt is produced by the Austrian company Schiebel and was developed from 2003 to 2005.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Features<\/td>\n1. The S-100 has a maximum take-off weight of 200 kg<\/span>. It is powered by a heavy fuel engine.
\n2.\u00a0 It offers an endurance of 6 hours.
\n3. Speed and Altitude:<\/strong> The UAV has a maximum speed of 220 km\/hr and can reach a ceiling of 5,500 meters.
\n4. Payload Capacity:<\/strong> The S-100 can carry multiple payloads, both surveillance and tactical in nature, with a maximum payload weight of 50 kg.
\n5. Operational Flexibility:<\/strong> The UAV requires no prepared area or supporting launch or recovery equipment and operates day and night under adverse weather conditions.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Navigation and Control<\/td>\nAutomatic Navigation<\/strong>: The S-100 navigates automatically via pre-programmed GPS waypoints or can be operated directly with a pilot control unit.
\nMission Planning<\/strong>: Missions are planned and controlled via a simple point-and-click graphical user interface.
\nReal-Time Imagery<\/strong>: High-definition payload imagery is transmitted to the control station in real-time.
\nFly-by-Wire Technology<\/strong>: Using \u201cfly-by-wire<\/span>\u201d technology controlled by redundant flight computers, the UAV can complete its mission automatically in the most complex of electromagnetic environments.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
