Recently, the Ministry of Coal has signed agreements for three coal mines<\/span> under the Second Attempt of the 7th Round of auctions.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

1. The Ministry of Coal has signed agreements for three coal mines under the Second Attempt of the 7th Round of auctions.<\/p>\n

2. Importance:<\/strong> This event marks a significant achievement in the commercial coal mining sector in India.<\/p>\n

3. Mines Involved:<\/strong> Machhakata<\/span> (Revised) Coal Mine, Kudanali Lubri<\/span> Coal Mine and Sakhigopal-B Kakurhi<\/span> Coal Mine. All these three coal mines are located in Odisha.<\/p>\n

4. Financial Impact:<\/strong> The estimated annual revenue generation from these three mines is approximately \u20b92,991.20 crores<\/span>. This estimation is based on production at an aggregated Peak Rate Capacity<\/span> of around 30.00 MTPA<\/span> (Million Tonnes Per Annum).<\/p>\n

5. Employment and Investment:<\/strong> Once operational, these mines are projected to create approximately 40,560 direct and indirect jobs. Additionally, a total investment of around \u20b94,500 crores will be allocated to bring these coal mines into operation.<\/p>\n
