Let me know if you need more information! \ud83d\ude0a\">\n<div class=\"ac-container ac-adaptiveCard has-image\">\n<div class=\"ac-textBlock\">\n<h2>Why in the news?<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Union Budget allocates <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">\u20b92 lakh crore for employment and skilling schemes<\/span>.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\">About Employment-Linked Incentive Schemes<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">1. The Centre will implement <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">three schemes<\/span> for \u201c<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">employment-linked incentive<\/span>\u201d as part of the Prime Minister\u2019s package, focusing on enrolment in the Employees\u2019 Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO).<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>First Scheme-<\/strong> <span style=\"color: #333333;\">This scheme will provide one-month wage to all persons newly entering the workforce in all formal sectors. The direct benefit transfer of <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">one-month salary in 3 instalments<\/span> to first-time employees, as registered in the EPFO, <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">will be up to Rs. 15,000<\/span>. The <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">eligibility limit will be a salary of Rs. 1 lakh per month<\/span>. The scheme is expected to benefit <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">210 lakh youth<\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Second scheme- <\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><span style=\"color: #333333;\">An incentive will be provided at specified scale directly both to the employee and the employer with respect to their EPFO contribution in the <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">first 4 years of employment<\/span>. The scheme is expected to benefit <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">30 lakh youth entering employment<\/span>, and their employers.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Third scheme-\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><span style=\"color: #333333;\">This employer-focussed scheme will cover additional employment in all sectors. All additional employment within a <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">salary of Rs.1 lakh per month<\/span> will be counted. The government will reimburse to employers up to <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Rs. 3,000 per month for 2 years<\/span> towards their EPFO contribution for each additional employee. The scheme is expected to incentivize additional employment of <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">50 lakh persons<\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Skilling programme-<\/strong> A new centrally sponsored scheme will be launched to <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">skill 20 lakh youth over a 5-year<\/span> period. <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">1,000 Industrial Training Institutes<\/span> will be upgraded in hub and spoke arrangements with outcome orientation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>3. Internship in Top Companies-<\/strong> A comprehensive scheme for <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">providing internship opportunities in 500 top companies to 1 crore youth in 5 years<\/span>. They will gain exposure for 12 months to real-life business environment, varied professions and employment opportunities. An <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">internship allowance of Rs. 5,000 per month along with a one-time assistance of Rs. 6,000 will be provided<\/span>.
