Why in News?<\/h2>\n

India’s air exercise \u2018Tarang Shakti\u2019 will be the first and largest international air exercise ever conducted in India. Invitations have been extended to 51 countries for this exercise.<\/p>\n

About Tarang Shakti<\/h2>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
Tarang Shakti<\/strong><\/td>\nIt is the first and largest international air exercise<\/span> ever conducted in India.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Aim<\/strong><\/td>\nThis exercise aims to strengthen strategic relations<\/span> with the international community.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Phases of the Exercise<\/strong><\/td>\nThe Exercise will be conducted in two phases-<\/span>
\nPhase one-<\/strong> It will be conducted at Sulur in Tamil Nadu<\/span> from August 6 to August 14. Four countries including France, Germany, Spain and the United Kingdom will participate with their assets.
\nPhase two-<\/strong> It will be held at Jodhpur in Rajasthan<\/span> from September 1 to 14. It will see participation from Australia<\/span>, Bangladesh<\/span>, Greece<\/span>, Singapore<\/span>, UAE<\/span> and the USA<\/span> with their assets.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Assets Participation<\/strong><\/td>\n1. Assets like F-18, A-18, C-130 aircraft, F-16 aircraft, A-10, KC-130 aircraft, KC-135 aircraft along with all the assets of the Indian Air Force.
\n2. Eurofighter Typhoon and Rafale from other countries.
\n3. Indian Navy with MiG-29K aircraft<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Other Objectives<\/strong><\/td>\n1. Showcasing the booming indigenous defence ecosystem in India.
\n2. Supporting the country\u2019s vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat (self-reliant India).
\n3. Defence industrial expo that will showcase top Indian defence companies and innovative startups.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
