INS Arighat was commissioned into the Indian Navy on March 10, 2023.<br \/>\n2. INS Arighat is India\u2019s second indigenously built\u00a0<span style=\"color: #ff0000\">nuclear-powered ballistic missile submarine (SSBN).<br \/>\n<\/span>3. INS Arighat has a submerged <span style=\"color: #ff0000\">displacement of around 6,000 tons.<\/span><br \/>\nThe submarine is <span style=\"color: #ff0000\">approximately 111 meters (364 feet) long and 11 meters (36 feet) wide.<\/span><br \/>\n<strong>2. Propulsion:<\/strong> It is <span style=\"color: #ff0000\">powered by a nuclear reactor,<\/span> which provides it with virtually unlimited range and endurance, allowing it to remain submerged for extended periods.<br \/>\n<strong>3. Armament:<\/strong> INS Arighat is <span style=\"color: #ff0000\">equipped with ballistic missiles capable of carrying nuclear warheads.<\/span> The specific missiles <span style=\"color: #ff0000\">include the K-15 Sagarika and potentially the K-4 missile<\/span>, both designed to enhance the submarine\u2019s strategic strike capabilities.<br \/>\n4.
