Parties to the agreement:<\/strong> Nepal, India, and Bangladesh<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">2. Nepal will export surplus electricity to Bangladesh through India from June 15 to November 15 every year. India will make arrangements to supply electricity from Nepal to Bangladesh.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>3. First Phase of Electricity Export:<\/strong> Nepal will export 40 MW of hydroelectricity to Bangladesh via Indian territory in the first phase. The price of electricity has been set at 6.4 cents per unit.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>4. Economic Impact:<\/strong> Nepal is expected to earn USD 9.2 million annually from this electricity export.
