Government Initiatives:<\/strong> Target of 500 GW from non-fossil sources by 2030. Key programs include National Green Hydrogen Mission, PM-KUSUM, PM Surya Ghar and Production-Linked Incentive (PLI)** schemes for solar PV modules.<\/p>\n<p><strong>6. Investment and Infrastructure:<\/strong> 100% Foreign Direct Investment allowed under the automatic route. Waiver of Inter-State Transmission System charges for specific projects until designated deadlines. Establishment of Ultra Mega Renewable Energy Parks for large-scale projects.<\/p>\n<p><strong>7. Regulatory Framework:<\/strong> Issued Electricity (Rights of Consumers) Rules, 2020 for net metering. Also, launched Green Energy Open Access Rules 2022 to promote renewable energy.
