Roopkund Lake: It is located 16,500 feet above sea level at the bottom of a steep slope on Trishul in the Garhwal Himalayas.<\/p>\n<p>3. It is famously known as the \u2018lake of skeleton\u2019 as hundreds of human skeletons emerge when the snow melts.<\/p>\n<p>4.
