Mitigation Work Programme (MWP) is a mechanism set up by the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change in 2022 at COP 27 in Sharm el-Sheikh.<\/p>\n<p>2. It aims to help the countries to scale up their mitigation targets and implementation to limit global warming to 1.5-degree celsius above pre-industrial levels.<\/p>\n<p>3.The objectives of the MWP are to foster discussions to scale up mitigation targets, promote inclusive participation, address equity and sustainable development concerns.<\/p>\n<p>4. The developed countries want the MWP to push for stronger and immediate action from all countries.<\/p>\n<p>5.
