1. Description-<\/strong> The Voronezh long-range early warning radar system is part of the Voronezh series produced by Russia’s Almaz-Antey Corporation<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

2. Range and detection<\/strong>– It is capable of identifying and tracking various threats, including ballistic missiles and Stealth aircraft, over distances of up to 8,000 kilometers<\/em><\/strong>.\u00a0 Additionally, it has the capacity to\u00a0detect more than 500 objects at once<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

3. Technology used<\/strong>– These radars employ phased array technology<\/em><\/strong>, which allows for rapid electronic steering of the beam. This makes them more efficient and less mechanically complex compared to older systems such as the Dnepr and Daryal radars.<\/p>\n

4. Variants<\/strong>-The Voronezh radars include variants like Voronezh-M, Voronezh-DM, and Voronezh-CM, along with some models each designed for specific detection needs.<\/p>\n

5. Integration feature<\/strong>– The various Voronezh radars can operate together as part of an integrated Missile Attack Early Warning System to generate a comprehensive radar picture of potential missile threats and space activity.<\/p>\n

6. Installation in India<\/strong>– The radar planned for installation at Chitradurga (Karnataka)<\/em><\/strong> is expected to be a Voronezh-M radar.
