It has killed <strong>6,224 people<\/strong>, while <strong>2,900 deaths<\/strong> remain unverified.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Mass Displacement:<\/strong> Over <strong>3.3 million people<\/strong> are internally displaced due to violence.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Failed Elections:<\/strong> The military\u2019s attempts to hold elections have failed. It uses force to suppress opposition.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ethnic Armed Organizations (EAOs)<\/strong>: These groups control parts of Myanmar, especially near borders. They have long resisted military rule.<\/li>\n<li><strong>People\u2019s Defense Forces (PDFs)<\/strong>: Civilian groups formed after the coup to fight the military. It remains the most powerful external player.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Border Areas Under Rebel Control<\/strong>: Myanmar\u2019s borders with India and Bangladesh are controlled by Ethnic Armed Organizations (EAOs). The government has lost authority there.<\/li>\n<li><strong>India-Bangladesh Issues<\/strong>: Relations between India and Bangladesh are strained.
