\n(ii) Reserved Category candidates and in-service candidates, and
\n(iii) Physically Challenged Candidates.<\/p>\n
JKPSC Exam Pattern 2025
\nThe JKPSC exam has three stages: Prelims, Mains, and Personality Test.<\/p>\n
Prelims: The first stage with objective-type questions to test general knowledge and aptitude.
\nMains: A descriptive exam to assess subject knowledge, analytical skills, and writing abilities.
\nPersonality Test: An interview to measure the candidate\u2019s overall suitability for administrative roles.<\/p>\n
JKPSC KAS Prelims Exam :
\nThe preliminary stage of the Jammu and Kashmir Combined Competitive Examination will consist of two papers,<\/p>\n
General Studies-I and General Studies-II, with a total of 200 marks.
\nThe exam has 200 objective questions. Candidates will get 1 mark for each correct answer, while 0.33 marks will be deducted for incorrect attempts. To qualify, candidates must secure a minimum of 33% marks in Paper II.<\/p>\n
