It is <strong>100% centrally funded<\/strong>\u00a0scheme.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Aim:<\/strong> It aims to create accurate digital maps of urban areas to streamline land governance, improve property ownership records, and facilitate urban planning.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Implemented by:<\/strong>Department of Land Resources (DoLR) under the Ministry of Rural Development.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Objective of the Scheme<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Create a <strong>comprehensive and accurate geospatial database<\/strong> for urban land records.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Integrate aerial and field surveys<\/strong> with <strong>GIS technology<\/strong> to modernize land management.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Improve decision-making<\/strong> in urban planning, land use, and property transactions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>It has been implemented across <strong>152 urban local bodies<\/strong> in <strong>26 states<\/strong>.
