The policy seeks to enhance the state&#8217;s export potential through <strong>following measures<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p><strong>1. a) Multi-tiered governance <\/strong>structure at the level of State, Division and District to coordinate <strong>implementation;<br \/>\nb)Graduated financial support <\/strong>(Rs. 10-40 lakhs) based on land size (minimum 50 acres), promoting <strong>cluster-based development<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. a) Subsidies <\/strong>for various modes of transport (25% support for air\/waterways shipments) to offset <strong>geographical disadvantages;<br \/>\nb) export facilitation centers <\/strong>to act as <strong>one-stop service points<\/strong> at all levels. They seek to provide <strong>information<\/strong>, and deliver all <strong>export-related assistance <\/strong>under one roof.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. a) Market fee exemptions <\/strong>for agricultural produce exported through <strong>direct purchases (<\/strong>mandi fee<strong>)<\/strong>;<br \/>\nb) <strong>processing units<\/strong> for <strong>value-addition<\/strong> near clusters;<br \/>\nc) subsidies and grants to promote agricultural export education.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. Global market linkages<\/strong> through international <strong>buyer-seller meets, <\/strong>participation in <strong>trade exhibitions <\/strong>to showcase UP&#8217;s agricultural products in <strong>global marketplaces<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The policy shows <strong>promising progress<\/strong>, with a <strong>5.5% growth <\/strong>in farm export value to Rs. 19,000 crore in 2022-23.
