{"id":329859,"date":"2025-03-17T17:12:21","date_gmt":"2025-03-17T11:42:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/?p=329859"},"modified":"2025-03-18T17:15:50","modified_gmt":"2025-03-18T11:45:50","slug":"pm-yuva-3-0","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/pm-yuva-3-0\/","title":{"rendered":"PM-YUVA 3.0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>News:<\/strong> The Ministry of Education&#8217;s Department of Higher Education has introduced PM-YUVA 3.0, the Prime Minister&#8217;s Scheme for Mentoring Young Authors. <strong>PM-YUVA 3.0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-330030 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/forumias.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/PM-YUVA-3.0.png?resize=543%2C360&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"PM-YUVA 3.0\" width=\"543\" height=\"360\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/forumias.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/PM-YUVA-3.0.png?resize=300%2C199&amp;ssl=1 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/forumias.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/PM-YUVA-3.0.png?resize=1024%2C680&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/forumias.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/PM-YUVA-3.0.png?resize=768%2C510&amp;ssl=1 768w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/forumias.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/PM-YUVA-3.0.png?w=1280&amp;ssl=1 1280w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 543px) 100vw, 543px\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>About PM-YUVA 3.0<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Launched by:\u00a0<\/strong> <strong>Ministry of Education, Department of Higher Education<\/strong> to nurture young literary talent in India.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Aim:<\/strong> To <strong>train budding authors under the age of 30<\/strong> to promote a strong reading, writing, and book culture across the country.<\/li>\n<li>PM-YUVA 3.0 aims to highlight the perspectives of young writers on the following themes:\n<ul>\n<li>Contribution of Indian Diaspora in Nation Building;<\/li>\n<li>Indian Knowledge System; and<\/li>\n<li>Makers of Modern India (1950-2025)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>PM-YUVA 3.0 Features<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Contestants must submit a <strong>10,000-word book proposal<\/strong>, including a 2,000-3,000-word synopsis, chapter plan, 7,000-8,000 words of sample chapters, bibliography, and references.<\/li>\n<li><strong>50 authors will be selected by a committee<\/strong> constituted by the National Book Trust (NBT).<\/li>\n<li>Applicants from <strong>PM-YUVA 1.0 and 2.0 are ineligible for PM-YUVA 3.0<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Selected young authors will interact with renowned writers, participate in literary festivals, and contribute to literature reflecting India&#8217;s heritage and progress.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>National Book Trust (NBT), India, will publish the selected books<\/strong> and translate them into other Indian languages, promoting &#8216;Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat&#8217;.<\/li>\n<li>Authors will receive a <strong>scholarship of \u20b950,000 per month for six months<\/strong> (\u20b93 lakh in total) under the Mentorship Scheme.<\/li>\n<li>A <strong>10% royalty<\/strong> will be provided on successful publication.<\/li>\n<li>Authors will be given a platform to promote their books and encourage a reading and writing culture nationwide.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>News: The Ministry of Education&#8217;s Department of Higher Education has introduced PM-YUVA 3.0, the Prime Minister&#8217;s Scheme for Mentoring Young Authors.
