It originates from the slopes of the <em>Western Ghats in Maharashtra\u2019s Nasik district<\/em>, it eventually drains into the Bay of Bengal.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>KLIP is set to become the world\u2019s largest multi-stage lift irrigation project.\n<ul>\n<li>In lift irrigation projects, water is not transported by gravity from higher to lower elevations through canals.
