Similarly, the <strong>annual minimum and maximum temperature<\/strong> <strong>rose<\/strong> from 19.32\u00b0C to 20.24\u00b0C and 30.78\u00b0C to 31.25\u00b0C respectively, during the same period.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>annual rainfall data<\/strong> from 2001 to 2024 highlights significant year-to-year variability influenced by monsoon patterns.\n<ul>\n<li>Despite this variability, the data does not indicate any clear long-term upward or downward trend in total annual rainfall.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Inland fish production<\/strong> has <strong>increased<\/strong> from 61.36 lakh tonnes in 2013-14 to 139.07 lakh tonnes in 2023\u201324, possibly indicating inland aquaculture and freshwater fisheries.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>Environment Sustainability Sector<\/strong> shows the <strong>highest expenditure<\/strong> share as Rs. 2433.24 crore in 2021-22.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Significance<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>It is a <strong>key resource for policymakers, researchers, and stakeholders,<\/strong> offering a comprehensive overview of the country&#8217;s environmental landscape.<\/li>\n<li>Through the analysis of <strong>key environmental indicators<\/strong>, the publication highlights emerging environmental trends, identifies pressing challenges.<\/li>\n<li>It supports the development of <strong>evidence-based policies<\/strong> aimed at achieving environmental sustainability and resilience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>News: The Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI), Government of India has released the 8th issue of the publication titled \u201cEnviStats India 2025: Environment Statistics\u201d.
